The Technology Behind the Partnership

Klean Power's contribution to the partnership is ATR®, the technology selected by the City of Vancouver for the GVRD Waste to Energy Project after Klean Power was short listed from 21 different technology vendors as a key technology supplier. Advanced Thermal Recycling (ATR®) combines the lowest achievable emissions with the highest landfill diversion rate of any commercially-available technology, which is precisely the profile a whole-of-lifecycle investor needs when emissions limits tighten and landfill capacity disappears.
